Hi all,

My mouse is acting really funny, whenever i try to open a
Folder by double clicking on the left button of my mouse,
it opens up a search rather than open up the folder
contents. If i do a right mouse click, i found out that
the Search.. command is the first on the list rather
than "Open". How can i correct this problem? does it
caused by virus?

Cheers

Go to Start>Run and type "regedit" without the quotes. Go to the key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell

and in the right pane double click on (Default) and enter the explicit
four characters "none" without the quotes.

Repeat at this key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell

Please be careful in the registry.

As for whether you have a virus, if you don't have a current antivirus
installed using updated definitions, get one asap.
