Left click rename

I know there is a way to do this. Before I had to reinstall WinXP Pro I had
it working but I don't remember how I did it.

When I have explorer open with the folder view on the left, I frequently
change folder names in the folder view pane. I find it a PITB to right
click, find rename and rename the folder. I want the folder view to do the
same thing as renaming a file on the right... Click, pause, click, type in
new name. All with the left mouse button.

I know it's a change to the registry, but old age has taken it's toll.
Anybody know what I need to do to make this happen?

Would you accept Click, press F2, type in new name? That's standard
and in a quick test it works in either pane in Explorer (but not on
special folders like SHared Documents).

Well, I suppose it will work. You know how it is... everybody and their
brother thinks that you want them in that right-click menu. I've tried to
keep it down, but... best laid plans and all that. I wasn't aware of the
F2 and since my hand is on the keyboard ready to type... Thanks.
