Lemme see, I saw them at Bromley Technical College in 1969 for seven shillings and sixpence and the following year at The Lyceum in the Strand for a quid. They were absolutely amazing.

Next time I saw them, they'd huged out - Knebworth it was. Just wasn't the same as at the college where I could go to the bar and get a pint then stroll right down the front again to see Jimmy Page whacking his geetar wiv a violin bow.

Saw quite a few bands around that time at small venues, Cream, The Nice, Black Sabbath, The Pretty Things, The Move, Tyranosaurus Rex to name just a few.

I'd like to go to that gig but I can't be arsed trying to get tickets, Glastonbury was bad enough, I got the tickets and then it rained on me all weekend......
