leave out null fields

I have a DB report created in Access 2003 that locates comments on
instructors between 2 dates. The report currently pulls all comments
including those records that have no comments or blank comment fields leaving
huge gaps/white spaces in the report. What can I do to have Access leave out
comment fields that are left empty.
 
Can't you just set a criteria in your report's record source that filters out
records with Null in the comments?
