Hi Guys,

I've recently stumbled across macros and am keen to learn more.

Can anyone out there direct me to some inital (free?) online tutorial
and/or some data examples of what macros can be used for.

I'm hoping they can remove the mundain task of re-writing formula fo
new data pasted into existing excel spreadsheets.

I look forward to your replies

As far as what macros can be used for - remember they are just ways to
automate tasks. So what ever you do in Excel can be automated and
simplified.
Anything from working with spreadsheets, making charts and tables, using
forms for
data imput, and what ever you can dream up... Let your imagination and
creativity
lead you...

hope this gets you started...
