As you may know, Bill Gates is the largest charitable contributor in
the world. He no doubt saw suffering, hunger, disease, or lack of
shelter somewhere in the world and, given his determination to share
his largess with the downtrodden, deprived, and less-fortunate,
decided the situation needed attention.

So he probably sold some stock and used the cash to ameliorate the
suffering of innocents, thereby bringing happiness to those without a
computer just like he's brought joy to those of us who do.

God Bless Bill Gates.

Yeah, and he is also the richest man in the world. Just for tax purposes
alone, logically he should also be the "largest charitable contributor in
the world."

He no doubt saw suffering, hunger, disease, or lack of

decided the situation needed attention.

When he gives up the tax write-offs for his charitable contributions, give
me a call. Until then, his motives for giving cannot be solely attributed
as being altruistic.

Besides the selfish reasons of tax breaks, Mr. Gates swindle most of his
money through unethical business practices, so it would be quite reasonable
to assume that part of his giving is an attempt to assuage some of his guilt
over his own unethical behavior in accumulating his astronomical wealth.

So he probably sold some stock and used the cash to ameliorate the
suffering of innocents, thereby bringing happiness to those without a
computer just like he's brought joy to those of us who do.
