I currently have XP prof with SP1.
My problem is that whenever I open a new browser window
from the right click meny "Open In New Window", the window
opens but seems to hang (does not show any loading
progress) Only the frame of the new IE window is visible.
The address bar stays blank and only when I stop the web
page does the address show. When I hit "refresh" on the
page it then load up fine. Actually this happens to all
pop-ups. The only window not affected is the initial IE
window.
This does not happen with any of the other Explorer type
interface programs just IE.
Any suggestions?

Thanks It worked great.
However when I use windows update the downloading window
just sits there after I accept the license agreement???

Tom,

You're Welcome. This problem occurs if the dlls registration is removed
somehow from the registry. This tool registers the dlls and runs ie setup
