latest include files and libraries for Windows C & C++

My version of VC++6.0 is obviously out of date
How can I get an update of the library files etc. for my development
I'm finding some things just don't work correctly under Win2000 and Win XP.
 
Sorry, wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for Microsoft Access, a database
application.
