Large file being sent many times

Maybe the third time will be a charm........

Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6408) SP 1. XP Home

Sending large files >1MB results in the file being send many times (28 in
one case). One solution suggested was to turn off the AV when sending.
This was done and seemed to help but the problem has returned.

When I use MSN instead of OL the problem does not happen.

What can I do to send large files using OL?

Greg

keep the email scanning portion of AV disabled and increase the timeout in
Outlook. tools, accounts, view or change, change the account and select more
settings.

Diane, et al

Get all the way to "change the account" then there is no "more". Just an
option to sync. No ability to increase the timeout.

OL 2003, XP Home

Any other ideas?

Doesn't sound like you're following the steps properly. What exactly are
you clicking and what menu items are you choosing? What are the titles of
the dialogue boxes you see along the way?

Sorry I was not faster in replying but to overcome the inability to upgrade
to SP2 because of the "sku112.cab was not found" I had to remove MS/Office
and reload it. I am now at SP 2. I had it in my mind being at the latest
level of Outlook could make a difference. It has not.

On to this problem and in reply to Brian's message.
