We have users who travel and have a lot of email. Since our exchange server
limits the size of their mailboxes, they have .pst files.
These users have laptops; if they were to lose, break, get stolen, etc their
laptop they would lose a lot of email in their personal folder .psts. So
they keep the .pst on the server and only get to see the contents while they
are at work.
This isn't satisfactory - they want all the email, all the time, but want it
backed up, which is what happens on the server.
On one machine we tried synchronization but each time the user synchronized
it took over an hour and tied his laptop up almost 100% so he couldn't work.
What is the best way to handle this?
Thanks,
Mich
