Hi,
My laptop has started to really slow down on boot up. I travel a lot and am
always putting in new printers, logon onto corporate websites via LAN or
WiFi. I do uninstall old printers etc.I am pretty sure that it is old
drivers causing the problem. I have run registry mechanic and it identified
something like 254 old registry entries which I deleted which improved the
speed a little but not enough.
I regulary run Spyware doctor and MS Anti spyware so I am happy there is no
spyware.
Is there any way to identify drivers at boot up so as I can stop or delete
them.
Specs:
HP 4010 1.6mhz
512mb
40 MB HD (42% full)
Windows XP Pro
Symantec Antivirus
mick.
