Laptop problem

Anyone help me ?

Yesterday I was hit with a trojan,not thinking I deleted it ,I shouldn't have,when I start up now I get this error..

RUNDLL
error loading C;/PROGRAME~1/NEWDOT~1/NEWDOT#1.DLL
SPECIFIED MODULE CANNOT BE FOUND.

I can't access any internet sites ,I did think of restoring back to factory settings but if its deleted its gone .Anyone any idea what I can do or am i looking at getting it reformated?

if your running XP, hopefully you have a restore point

I am running xp,but system restore was tturned of ,think before i bought it.having no luck with it.
