Is there any way to use a laptop computer display as an extended
display of my desktop box? Like multi monitoring? I know that laptops
miss video inputs but perhaps there is another way?

My response was based upon my knowledge of the hardware capabilites,
which is what I presumed the OP was asking about, and I was unaware of
any network/software solution.
