Hi,
I'm not sure whether this is the right group for this query. I am working
with an RM CY25 laptop running WinXP Pro.
Trying to connect a projector to the external monitor socket results in all
the proper things showing up (ie dual monitor display in adapter setup,
etc), and if I click on identify on either of the two monitors shown, the
appropriate number pops up on the appropriate display.
When the computer starts up, the same messages and bootup details are
displayed on both displays until the logon box is displayed - this only
displays on the TFT screen.
Regardless of what I do, the only thing displayed on the projector is the
desktop background, no icons are displayed at all and they are not being
clipped off the edge of the screen at all.
I've searched the web, the knowledge base and everywhere else I can think of
and have tried all the suggestions in those areas. The Fn+<function key> (F5
for this PC) has no effect whatsoever.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
