hey i am having laptop inspiron 5150. i think my hdd just crashed.
i wanna know how to what are the hdd specs like size .is it 2.5 " or
3.5".

basically i wanna buy n new hdd so i have no idea what i have to buy.

To open the manual you need a pdf reader like adobe reader or better yet the

Any 2.5" disk will do. When you buy it, have a look at a 3.5"
disk too. Can you visualise how it would fit inside your laptop?

You can also check,

* Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools, click 'System Information'.
* Expand (+) Components > Storage, click 'Disks'

Your hard drive's information will be displayed in the right pane, such as
manufacturer & model.
