got a pretty new laptop. 3ghz Medion. Starting to annoy me, sent back
after a month had to have new motherboard put in.
Past few month it seems to just be constantly freezing then its fine if
left for a couple of minutes. its not workable. Formatted hard drive and
it still does the same things, also sometimes if you try and refresh the
desktop the icons just duplicate. ANY HELP APPRECIATED

You may have a defective video adapter. You'll have
to return it to the manufacturer for repairs.

There have been quite a few issues with some newer laptops. Basically a few
lemons are finding their way into the market.

For instance a new top of the line IBM laptop is 'killed' any time that any
USB mouse is attached to the USB port. This machine has been returned 4
times and each time a new Mobo is inserted and the system returned.

It appears that the manufacture and test and quality assurance are not up to
prior standards and some poor designs are slipping through.

Ask the manufacturer to replace your Laptop. Don't accept a new Mobo.
