Laptop brutally entering standby because of battery: how be alarmed sooner ?

Hi,

when my laptop decides it hasn't enough power left when onbattery, it
brutally displays a message and shuts down.

How should I do to be alarmed sooner, so I have time to connect a power cord
and not be interrupted ?

If it it windows doning the shutdown, look in Power Options for thew
Setting for alarms point.
 
That might depend on your Laptop, for specific settings, or look in pwr
settings for any options
