My Friend has a Czech version of XP which he dosen't want to change but is
unable to install his broadband software as it says it dosen't recognise the
computer language. i heard that you can change something in DOS to make it
work but don't know how ?
Please help

First of all, I would Czech out (excuse the pun) the website for the
manufactuer of the modem (search on Google with the name of the manufacturer
as keyword). They may have an international version of the driver software,
as well as an English language one, available for download, so you may save
yourself alot of unnecessary trouble.

The language of Czech Windows XP can not be changed.
If Windows XP is desired in another language, Windows XP must be purchased
in the desired language.

Check with the broadband software manufacturer for options.

The only thing that comes to mind is changing the language for
non-Unicode programs under CP > Regional Settings > Advanced
