language packs

i have been directed to a web page for sports coverage however as the page
starts to load a window opens saying that to view page properly a chineese
simplified language pack should be installed is this what i should do as
obviously the characters are unreadable.

Installing the language pack will mean the chinese characters will show
correctly...

However unless you can read chinese there isn't much point.
