I have a Intel D875pbz board with built in LAN. My power was turned off in
error yesterday, but my UPS didn't shut down the system prior to power going
off. When power was back I could not connect to my LAN with my cable modem.
I keep receiving limited or no conectivity messages. I called comcast tech
support and we tired release and renew ip address in cmd but no luck. It
just won't connect. I went out a bought a new modem Motorola surfboard with
usb connection and it connected right away but still no conectivity with the
LAN.

Regrettably, the router we use for computer number two doesn't have usb
capability, so i can't set up the network this way.

What can I do to try and resolve the LAN connectivity issue. Everything
worked just fine before the power outtage and I did verify in device/hardware
manager that the LAN is functioning properly.

Thanks

- Did you try cycling the power to your router?
- What is your router's IP address?
