Lan not working please help!

Hi, i have an adsl router and am connected thorough lan, this morning i
connected to it but for some reason i cant view web pages although it says
that its connected.

it says that it is connected at 100.0 mbps, and it says that 581 packets
have been sent but 0 have been recieved.

as you can probably tell im not very good at all this computer bussiness so
your help whold be greatly appreciated.

by the way when i open internet explorer it comes up with,

"this page cannot be displsayed"

i am currently connected through my mothers wirless.
