Lan issues especially disconnections of network drives

Hi,

Having numerous complaints from users, which theres about 250 on the
LAN. Basically they keep saying the LAN is slow and network drives keep
disconnecting. My support team keep telling me theres nothing wrong and
the LAN is fine and theres nothing wrong with the file servers.

Any suggestions on what to get checked or even a damned fine consultant
to come and sort the thing out for me.

I would think you would want to post to a server newsgroup.
