I do not have a system generated ASR disk. I have''Primary Master HD Error"
message. Tried booting system with orginal XP Pro disk, but was diected to
insert ASR disk, which I do not have. Where do I got from here, any ideas ???

Thanks,
Francis

If you have primary master hard drive errors it is a physical defect on the
drive.

Best go shopping for a new one.

I hope that you did backup your personal files to CD's or DVD's, as they are
likely irretrievable without a great expenditure of money.

You don't get one, you had to create one from the ntbackup program. If you
didn't do so, then you don't have one.
