Does anyone know of any DVD label making freeware?

Thanks in advance
It is often said that you should Not put labels on a DVD, as it can throw
them out of balance. However if you prefer to ignore this, it`s your choice.
Any CD labelling software will create your labels.

No labels are the best labels for CDs and DVDs. Direct disc printing
holds a lot of promise though. From the Council on Library and
Information Resources, "Condition that Affect CDs and DVDs;"
Disc manufacturers advise against using adhesive labels because they
can create unbalanced disc spin, resulting in premature wear of the
drive.

However, if Librarians still intend to apply a label...
it should be manufactured for use on CDs or DVDs, and an appropriate
disc label applicator tool should be used to affix the label. The
label applicator tool should center the label on the disc so as to
maintain the disc balance as much as possible.

Very good section on Disc Surface printing as well. Full text at
http://www.clir.org/pubs/reports/pub121/sec5.html. Obtw, if the OP is
still dead-set on labeling, OpenOffice (and other word processors) can
do this through their "address label" functions.

NP Kitty,

Nowadays I simply use a non-corrosive marker. And if I need to do a
really *neato* label, I'll use...

cursive!
