The Microsoft Knowledge Base is changing and, at least for me, is reported
as unavailable. The search function has changed, too, and is less
convenient. Leave it to Microsoft to fix something that's not broken.

They've made some major changes to it - it was working for me yesterday, but
the search feature seems busted right now.

"Search the Knowledge Base (KB) is currently not available. We are aware of
this issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible."

Etc. Wait & see....the new interface is actually pretty nice.

Depends who it's aimed at - people who are less experienced at using the KB
might find it's less intimidating and easier to use. The new portals
(http://support.microsoft.com/out2003) should be helpful too...

(I personally prefer googling the KB.)

"Googling" as a neologism for "searching" or
"Googling" as in "I can search the KB directly from Google." [how and
what is the benefit of doing that?]
