kmode_exception_not_handled

I just upgraded from Win98 to Win2000 and this is the
error message i get. I can get to safe mode but i can not
get to normal mode. what do i need to do to correct
this? and what does this mean?

i had previously read that article from Microsoft but it
did not make any sense to me. Could you give me any
insight on that article? Any help is appreciated.
