I followed the link and read Demetris' message completely.
Being a freeware aficionado, downloading, installing and uninstalling
programs, I want to go on record that both Keynote and Phonedeck are
among my most favourite and most used freeware on my machine.
I really don't understand how other similar, more recent software are
superior to these (remember I am not a computer expert) but both of
them both serve eminently the purpose for which I use them on almost a
daily basis.

maybe Aafuss can take over and save the project?

MOnitor clean-up, aisle 5 !!

I Agree with that. There are 2 programs i use most: OpenOffice and Keynote.

Everytime i look for alternatives for Keynote. But, as far as i know, they
don't exist. The current version is from 2003. So, the program has some
shortcomings, like a low table support. A feature i really want ...

If there's a good alternative around for keynote, please let us know! If
there's anyone around, who want's to take this program over and save the
project (or make it an opensource project on sf.net) he's my hero. And a
hero for many others.

Keynote. 2000-2003. R.I.P.

FYI - it's already a Source Forge project:

Hello;

This site provides only a very few jumbled words,
does anyone know of a better online Polish -> English translator than
http://www.poltran.com/

or could you provide a summary (maybe off-group, considering, and OT),
I only got a barest gist of it.

I have some familiarity and positive ideas concerning this,
but more accurate info is needed.
His note is inconsistent as to whether he is certain to retire.
This "bad spell" could pass by with the right tweaks and reasons.

Keynote 2 could still be born someday and revolutionize us all :)
