My keyboard will not type @ sign with the correct button I don that with shift + 2 it will not display it with the correct button just above shift it displays " that.
Maybe stupid but its annoying me!!
 
This is quite a common problem, and annoying too!

Go into your control panel, and look for language options. You need to change your keyboard to UK (instead of US).

If you can't find the options, let me know which Operating System you have, and I'll guide you through it :)
