Everytime I type the letters U, I,O,P,J,K,L,:,.,/ or M on my laptop I get the following characters appear on the screen
U=4 I=5 O=6 P=* J=1 K=2 L=3 :=- M=0 >=. ?=

It is like the Fn key is stuck on, does anyone know how to fix this

HEY DANIEL WHAT S UP. I AM HAVING THE SAME EXACT ISSUE.. I HAVE AN IBM THINKPAD 770ED. KEYBOARD DOES WHAT YOU SAID. I HAVE FOUND NO SOLUTION. THIS IS SOME INFO I GOT: CHECK YOUR REGIONAL SETTINGS IN THE CONTROL PANEL, UPDATE THE SOFTWARE FOR THE KEYBOARD. I AM STILL TACKLING THIS ONE. LET ME KNOW IF YOU GET IT RESOLVED BEFORE ME. WHAT COMPUTER AND SYTEM DO YOU HAVE?
 
Looks like you have the FN-NumLock on. Look for a key with a digit and lock
symbol, press that in conjuction with the FN key. That should put you back
to normal

Press Shift + NumLock to go back to regular keyboard (this works for me on
my laptop, it's probably pretty standard?)

This happens all the time on my Dell laptop when I plug in an external
keyboard, it enables the 10-key numeric function of the keyboard.
