When I am typing in Word, I cannot have another program open at the same time. Every other letter skips or the keys won't work at all. This just recently happened. I am working on a course on-line, and I always have both screens open at once to type notes from the course on to Word. At some point a few weeks ago, I quit being able to do this. Someone told me it sounded like a worm, but I have Norton (with updates), and also a spyware blaster program (with updates), and my computer shows to be clean of viruses & worms. If I shut down, & boot back up, it works fine for about 30 minutes, but the longer I type, the less responsive it gets. Until finally, I can't type a sentence without every other letter being left out & space bar not working. Help!! Any ideas?
