I have an autistic 5 year old, we are trying to teach him to communicate
through the computer. Can someone please tell me how to change the setting
so we can use the arrow keys instead of the mouse. Or if there is something
easier than a mouse that can be used. We can't get him to understand the
arrow verses the click on thye mouse.

I don't have an answer for you, but I did a Google for "computer
resources autistic children" and got about 925,000 hits. Some of the
first ones look very useful:

Good luck,

It's hard to determine what you want from the way your question is
phrased. Do you want to move the mouse cursor with the arrow keys? (see
MouseKeys in Windows Help) or do you want to move the focus from one
item to another on the desktop from the keyboard? (tab to the area,
arrow key to move from item to item, enter to activate item)
