Keyboard Shortcuts Stop Working

Often when I am working in Powerpoint, the keyboard
shortcuts simply stop working. The only way around it is
to reboot my PC. I will then be OK for awhile, and then
it happens again. Does anyone else have this problem?
What do you do about it? I am using Windows XP, with
Microsoft Office XP Professional.

Is there any chance you've inadvertently activated one of the accessibility
features in XP? Did you hear any odd sounds before you noticed that the
shortcuts stopped working? Do shortcuts stop working in other programs at the
same time?

Pressing the Shift key several times rapidly turns on StickyKeys, for example.
That or one of the other accessibility features might interfere with keyboard
shortcuts.
