I am on a Sont Viao laptop computer. When I press a key the print does not
match the key I press. The only way I can type properly is to hold down the
funstion key. I had this problem once before and it seems the solution
involved the function key somehow. Can someone help me/ Thanks

You've probably got the function lock on, and holding the Fn key at this
point toggles it back to normal mode while you hold it.

Look in the top row of keys (Escape - F1 - F2 - F3, and so on). Look for a
function+key (usually a color-coded item in another key) that resembles a
lock, or in some cases, a weird square with arrows in it (hard to describe).
But try pressing FN+that key, and see if it'll toggle off the Function lock.
