Keyboard layout mysteriously changed from US to UK

I was happily typing away and my keyboard layout mysteriously changed
from the US setting to the UK one. Kindly tell me how I can change it
back.

Sorry, forgot to add an important bit. The settings have not changed
globally. If I type in Notepad, the settings are still US keyboard
layout ones.

It is only in Visual Studio .NET 2003 that they seem to appear
differently.

Then it would seem that it's clearly a Visual Studio .NET 2003 issue,
not a Windows one. You'd be more likely to get the help you need if
you would ask in a newsgroup that covers that software than here in a
Windows one.
