Hi Bill,
I don't believe WinXP has that capability built in. I use a free
program called RoboType. With it, I type /zd and the computer prints
to he screen 'HP Pavilion zd7010us'. The '/' tells RoboType that it
is getting ready to see an abbreviation. The program works with any
size text string. I use it for signatures and things that I find
myself typing all the time.
