keyboard freeze

While writing in microsoft word, i paused with my finger
on the shift key. The keyboard froze. I can use the
mouse. I logged out of my "user" and went to another on
the same computer and the keyboard works. How do I fix
the keyboard without restoring the whole computer?

hi...

obviously, if your keyboard works on another sign-in,
then the keyboard is fine. i would try just re-booting
(restarting) your computer and going back to the task you
were in previously....
