Keyboard F-lock - make it ON by default?

Hi,

Has anyone found a way to (registry?) hack the F-lock key on new
keyboards to make it ON by default? I found several MS keyboard specific
registry hacks but nothing which will fix my Logitech Access keyboard.

I have to press F-lock before F8 to get a boot menu and I get the &^%*&
media player every time I try to do a spell check if I forget to press
F-lock after every restart.

It should at least remember the last state, but Logitech apparently
don't listen to their users...

Thanks I had found that page, but neither patch works for the Logitech
keyboard. I guess the real problem is that it's the keyboard hardware
default so it's not going to be possible to hit F8 during boot without
first hitting F-lock. It would be nice to have the "last state" option
once Windows has loaded though...

I uninstalled the Logitech iTouch software so at least I don't keep
firing up the media player now (although of course the "special" keys
also cease to work).
