I am runing Windows XP on a Dell 4300S Dimension PC
The "enter" keys on the keyboard, (both the physical and virtual) cease to function at various (and annoying) intervals. It is ONLY the enter keys that cease to function. I can't pinpoint any particular software application that causes it. The only way to restore the keys to functionality is to reboot. Dell Support (knowledge Base) suggested clearing NVRAM and restoring the original factory system setup settings. I have tried switching keyboards to no avail
In checking the event viewer, it shows two recurring errors, application error (event 1000) and application hang (catagory 101, event 1002
Any suggestions? Thanks
