Keyboard Doesn't Work for One User

I upgraded from WindowsME to Windows XP (Home edition)
last night. I added 4 family members as users. My
problem is, windows doesn't recognize the keyboard for one
user. (The keyboard works fine when the other 3 people use
the computer.) How can a keyboard be incompatible for one
person, but not for everyone else that uses the same
machine? Has anyone ever heard of this problem? How can
I fix it? Thank you.

Was this ever solved? I have a user with a similar problem-- without doing an upgrade. 4 users with the keyboard working properly for 3 of them and not at all for the 4th.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I found one possible solution. "Filter keys". It's part of accesibility options. When I enable it on my computer, I get the same symptoms-- no keyboard response. Disable it and the keyboard is back. Here's hoping that'll solve my user's problem and maybe yours one day...
