I keep running into the same problem of the p/s2 keyboard quits responding
after a couple seconds of no input, when trying to install WinXP. The
keyboard is the Microsoft Natural ergonomic type. I don't have another
keyboard to try in its place. My MoBo is an Epox EP-8KTA2 with KT133 AGP via
chip set. The keyboard works just fine within the BIOS setup. Any ideas how
to correct this?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

One of my systems has the same keyboard without issue. I know that doesn't
help you, but it does let you know that the cause isn't due to your WinXP
install. Your only option at this point is to either use an USB adapter or
purchase/borrow another keyboard.

Then get one. This is NOT an XP OS issue. IT's a hardware issue. It may
not be a keyboard problem at all as you may have all your perifs
connected when you are trying to install xp which is NOT recommended.
