Key board short cuts

My key board has started to do odd things!
When I use the short cut "Alt + F4" to close a program, it opens up "My
computer" instead! Any one know how i can get it to go back to closesing down
the program that is running please?

then.....don't use keyboard to do such thing.......................
microsoft is modifying their windows....legal.....
so be patient....................
