Anyone know what this error message means in an otherwise stable XP Pro
setup whenever I do a defrag?
Not when I run scandisk, but only when I defrag
Initially I thought it was something to do with Norton Speedisk but it does
it when I run the XP defrag itself
And lastly after the BSOD, the system often wont boot and stops during the
various pre-XP checks . If you try numerous times it does go into XP and
then the problem is cured until you are stupid enough to run Defrag again
