when i try update my Norton anti-virus, and in some other
pplications, I get an error message whcih reads:
"Memory access violation in Module kernel32 at
8332:28751741". the last number changes each time but the
main part of the message appears every time.

Clue: Microsoft does not distribute updates or patches via e-mail. You
likely recently received and installed one of these faked support emails.
