Little drag on system-resources, not "bloated" as *so* many apps are these
days, easy to config, well-spoken of throughout the years, also (the) "Free for
personal use"; does not "expire" any features after 30 days. Etc., etc.

I've been trying it for the past day and it is indeed much faster. Thanks
for the pointer. And it's basically just as safe?

If you're talking about Kerio 2.1.5, the only major flaw is that it
doesn't process fragmented packets properly, it allows them thru without
logging or blocking in any way. It's old news.. Google for "Kerio
fragmented packet" or similar phrases and you should get more info.
Been discussed at length on many forums and so on. Other than that,
2.1.5 is a great firewall.
