Thought I'd give Firefox a spin...but what rules are other Kerio users
running with it?
My IE rules ( admittedly imported ) are a little tighter than 'allow
all'....
....and can the toolbars be moved...theres a lot of vacant space after
the 'File..Edit..' menu..

I just allow all.

Right-click a toolbar to bring up the ]customize' dialog. You can drag
elements to where you want them. If you can fit them all on the main
toolbar, you can then hide the others.

Once you are out of the 'customize' dialog, to hide a toolbar, right-
click it and uncheck it. I don't think you can hide the main menubar.

Regards,
Everything can be moved around if you go into the View, Toolbars,
Customize menu (or something like that).

I haven't used kerio 2.15 for a while, but I don't recall anything special
you need to do with firefox. I'm assuming the default loopback rule is
still there of course.

Put Kerio into learning mode and wait for the dialog boxes that appear
when it goes online. Then "create rule" and probably "customize" and
that's it. I allowed TCP Ports 80,443,8080,554 for normal surfing. But
for downloading via FTP, I needed to open all TCP Ports.

A second rule should deny all incoming requests to FireFox, since it
is not supposed to be a server. I didn't experience problems with
these two rules yet.

I have to thank Kerio for totally screwing up my system. I removed it
and the removal trashed my network connection so completely that I had
to remove everything and start over.

I removed it because I was experiencing system instabilities and
interference with every shutdown and restart until I had to be
thankful for the reset button. Never again will I let it near one of
my machines.

Everything can be moved around if you go into the View, Toolbars,
Customize menu (or something like that).

I can see how to move/change the icons on the second toolbar, but what
I wanted to do was shift the URL box and the 'links' section so that I
can cram what's now on three toolbars into two.
On IE you can drag the various section about as you like - just though
Firefox might have incorporated that nifty idea.

Sounds like a plan - I'll set Kerio to alert and see what gets asked
for.
