I always used to load up the bcc field with e-mail
addresses when I wanted to send out an announcement or
newsletter type e-mail to a large list, usually as a
distribution list. But now I hear that some spam filters
see this and mark such e-mails as spam. Is this true.
I realize this does not provide any opt-in, double opt-
in, etc . . . . so please do not lecture me on this <g>
Doesn't BCC send e-mails in a way that keeps this from
happening? If I do this, should I limit the size of the
distribution lists?
I have tried different mailing list programs. mailman is
provided, but has some quirks and is just to much for
what I want. I loved Dada mail but the host suspended my
account for a few hours because they said the dada script
caused server to hang. So I'm desperate to find another
reliable methid, although I have been asked not to try
any other third party script.
Thanks
