Keep Reminders from setting on 97

In Outlook 97, every time I set an event in calendar it automatically sets a
"reminder bell". How do I turn OFF this function ? ? ?

It is a really old version and I don't (Thank God) have it installed
anywhere. Check under Tools for an options dialog or a calendar dialog.
