Keep path default

Hi
Hope I explain this right. Every program has it's 'default path' it goes to to get files. For example, when I go to 'add pictures' to an email using MSN8 - the path always goes to "MY PICTURES"... that's not where I keep my pictures!! I then have to play the search the directory game.

Is there a way to change the path so a program ALWAYS goes to one you specify - not where it wants to go? I've looked in Windows help and get nothing! Would it be in the registry

Thank you

This depends on the software. If you cannot find a setting for this in
the program, you are lost.
You could alternatively use the MY PICTURES folder for to store your
data. If you are not satisfied with the location of the folder, move
it to a more proper place with the Windows Explorer.
