keep hyperlink formating from showing

All of sudden MSWord 2007 began to show hyperlinks when copying scripture
verses from one document to another. How do I turn this off. It did not
happen before.

Alt-F9, probably.

If that doesn't work, go to Office Button > Word Options > Advanced >
Show Document Content (third batch down) > uncheck "Show field codes
instead of their values" (last one above the group of dropdowns)
