keep header row on top

I have columns from A to P and rows from 1 down to 2000
All columns have differnt headings.
How can I keep the heading row on top of my work sheet
when I'm working on lets say row 620?,as I can not
remember what goes in what column with out scroling to the
top of the work sheet.
eg:-row a1 date rc tb rs 0.0 dv bt pss
row a620
row a621
row a622

Select row 1 and click on Window/freeze panes

Look at Window | Freeze Panes

Select a cell below where you want the headings to repeat and freeze the
pane. You can have column and row titles repeated.
